Harris State Building

The Harris State Building, a twenty two story complex in Oakland’s civic center, required a elevator modernization to improve performance and provide clearer passenger guidance throughout the site. Seventeen elevator cars were upgraded with full size Swing Returns and destination dispatch control to refresh the interiors and support a smoother user experience. Dupar UniBlade IDs and UniBlade Flush IDs were installed across key areas of the building to deliver clear directional information and improve navigation between the main entry plaza, daycare drop off and office levels. The updated fixtures now complement the building’s formal architectural character and contribute to a more efficient and visually cohesive lift system.
